Mojo Helpdesk Achieves SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance

We’re proud to share that Mojo Helpdesk has successfully completed the SOC 2 Type II audit, conducted by an independent third-party auditor. This certification confirms that our internal controls and processes meet the rigorous standards set by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) for managing and securing customer data.

What is SOC 2?

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a compliance framework designed specifically for technology and cloud-based organizations. It evaluates how service providers handle customer data across five Trust Services Criteria (TSC):

  1. Security – Protecting systems against unauthorized access
  2. Availability – Ensuring the system is available for operation as promised
  3. Processing Integrity – Delivering services accurately, on time, and reliably
  4. Confidentiality – Protecting sensitive data from unauthorized disclosure
  5. Privacy – Ensuring proper collection, use, retention, and disposal of personal information

SOC 2 Type I vs. Type II

There are two levels of SOC 2 certification:

  • Type I examines whether the right controls and processes are in place at a single point in time
  • Type II goes further by assessing whether those controls are not only in place but also operating effectively over an extended period

By completing the Type II audit, Mojo Helpdesk has proven that our security controls are not only designed correctly but also consistently applied and performing reliably every day.
